How do I get LOC?
LOC is currently made available to colleagues in the UK through blended (part online, part face-to-face workshops) which train new users in understanding the pedagogical underpinning of the tool as well as its basic functionality. Workshops are held several times a year. Workshop attendees receive a login for the LOC tool which gives access to server space on which to store materials collected and a licence to use the tool for non-commercial purposes.
Licences are available for commercial use and/or for non-UK HE institutions on application to the LLAS Centre: llas@soton.ac.uk
Training Options:
- Attend a LLAS workshop. You may view the details of past workshops.
- Book a workshop for your own staff and/or postgraduate students in your own institution.
- Host a workshop for your area, in exchange for free places for your staff. Contact us to find out how.
Note: if you are not a UK HEI and would like to attend or book a workshop please contact us for more information.
